Mecca and Main Street

The Muslim Stories Project was recently featured in the newly released book Mecca and Mainstreet from renowned author and journalist Geneive Abdo. Where most journalists have fanned the flames of misrepresention, Ms. Abdo's work contrasts with a remarkably candid look at the life of Muslim Americans post 9/11.

To find out more about Geneive and her new work, visit www.GeneiveAbdo.com.

The book can be purchased at Amazon.com

Mahmoud centers on the experiences of a family of seven as they anxiously await the arrival of the new addition to the family. While some members of the family are noticeably more excited than others, when tragedy strikes the faith of the entire family is put to the test.

Read the touching tale of Mahmoud, and witness first-hand how strong faith and hope are the cornerstones of every strong Muslim family.
